While discussing how the Clankin' Hank character should react to other characters (or "actors" as we call them) in Cortex Command, someone made a point that Hank should bleed blue pixels for water leaking rather than the default red pixels (or black for robots)
So, after a about 45 minutes of reverse-spriting the original CH body, I managed to produce this early version of CH's underbody, which becomes visible after his normal body takes too much damage and shatters.
If you can't tell (I dont blame you) the gray things are pipes for carrying water around CHs' body, and the red thing is a central furnace (glow effects will be added later)
I still need to add a busted up looking water tank on the back, so this is still qualified as a WIP.
Questions? Comments? Concerns?
EDIT; And is that some damn good shading or what? Seriously, I've seen sprites on CC made by peple who have been spriting WAY longer than I have and this beats a LOT of them in the shading department!
Just felt I'd point out the obvious since I only started on this last wednesday ^^ EDIT2: By "just started", I mean just started sprite art altogether, not just this torso
In my book, the "Cortex Command" is the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command, because I (the Cortex) am an ally of the agency and apply various implements to help track down criminals.
